| Olpin Group was recently awarded the bid to plan, design and install workspace and storage solutions for the law firm Christie Parker & Hale LLP. The firm decided to move offices to a more attractive and efficient space. As it had continued to expand and occupy additional floors, it became more difficult to maintain an efficient workflow. Also, the firm suffered from the inevitable loss of cohesiveness that comes with expansion that occurs in various stages within the same building. Maggie Mandel from On the Move relocation management and Colin Sarjeant with Ex Novo Inc. interior planning and design were called in to assist with the move. After looking at several proposals for filing and storage solutions, they selected Olpin Group to come on board because of their experience and their ability to help in the planning and design stages as well as installation and follow up. The law firm will be moving from five floors to two floors -- the 22nd and 23rd floors -- in another building. Because the new space is slightly smaller and they are retaining the same sized staff and storage needs, efficient use of space is extremely important. After studying the new space, intended workflow, and storage needs of the law firm, Olpin Group, on the move and Ex Novo designed the ideal solution. It includes two high density mobile filing systems with the capacity to handle the enormous storage and access needs for legal files. In order to accommodate the complete law library, Olpin Group is installing special metal shelving with a heavy load-bearing capacity, finished off with attractive solid wood trim. It combines the durability of metal with the beauty of wood. In addition, because the firm will be located on upper floors, special seismic requirements must be met. Olpin Group utilized a structural engineer to specially design the proper attachments in order to meet all seismic requirements. Perhaps best of all, Olpin Group will be performing the installation in an extremely timely manner, finishing the project by Dec. 1 and helping to keep the move on schedule as well as on budget. |

In the years I have been with Kaiser, as the DMC team lead, I have yet to have a bad experience with any of your fine workers. They are professional with excellent attitudes and have shown a great work ethic.

I wanted to pass along my thanks for the huge help that Olpin Group provided in the relocation of thousands of assets. The archive manager remarked that it was the most organized shipment that he'd ever taken receipt of. And we greatly appreciate the care in which these assets were handled.

Over the past year, I have realized that very few contractors have met or surpassed our experience with Olpin Group. We had little interruption of our museum programming even though half of our buildingn was under construction!
